for their wedding invitations (Don't worry, we don't sell toxic envelopes). Handwritten invitations were only used by the
aristocracy in England and France in the 18th century. RSVP comes from the phrase "Respondez s'il vous plait," meaning
"please reply." Before the printing press was invented in 1447, weddings were announced by the town crier. The world's largest
envelope measured 32-feet long by 23-feet wide.
