This camera is perfect for me, I love to be able to snap a quick shot and see the results right away. easy switching from taking a picture to checking out the shots. Its small enough that it fits in my purse, but the screen is big enough i can see the whole shot every time. No complaints from this picture taker. Great Job Kodak!

I purchased this camera for business reasons, but haven't had to use it yet, so I've been practicing on family and friends. The camera is easy to use, but the pictures are yellowish and/or dull, reagardless of the setting. I am new at this, so it could be me.

I've used the camera in low light, poor weather (rainy conditions) and the pictures were wonderful. While vacationing and taking scenery pictures - i.e. leaving the camera on - drains the battery very quickly so a spare is a great idea unless you have AC adapters available...battery is not the standard AA's or Alkaline -and more pricey! but all in all a very good camera, that takes excellent photos - up close, and has a decent zoom. Great for quick shots and fun, but not for professional look by any means.

Use this for travel, especially in the big cities like London and Glasgow. The camera is small and black in colour and it doesn't attract beggars or pan handlers who perceive one as a wealthy American tourist. It takes great pictures. An excellent camera and fun to use.

This is my first digital camera, and I must say that this camera makes taking photos easy and makes me wonder what took so long to try one. I think my only complaint is that the camera is describes as an easy share camera, and it came bundled with a printer, and the printer is HUGE and in no way that I can figure out is there anything about the printer that is easy share!!!!

For my second digital camera purchase, I had some criteria in mind. It had to be able to run on AA batteries (including rechargeables, as I have invested in batteries and a charger). It also had to have a better zoom that 3x, which is what so many are offering these days. This Kodak met all my standards, plus it is easy to use . A solid purchase,[$]

It is very easy to use. We also have a C530 which I am comparing it to. I like the compact size, the larger LCD screen, but there apparently is a trade off. There is no view finder on the Z885. You have only the LCD screen to frame your shot, and in bright light you cannot see the image on the LCD, so you are shooting blind. At such a time a view finder would be preferable. So far I have been lucky just pointing and shooting. With photo editing software I can get a picture I like. Otherwise the pictures are great!

This camera was bought to replace an older Kodak Digital camera. I have no complaints so far. I had bought a different model and was very dissatisfied with it. So I returned it and bought this one. Used it at the beach on vacation and am very impressed with the results. With minimal effort on my part, the pictures turned out better than I had expected. The Kodak EasyShare Software is a great plus too.

I picked up this camera just to have something with a bit of zoom on me at all times. The colors are great, the shutter lag is very reasonable when prefocusing, it has an extended ISO to save the picture when all esle fails. The high ISO pictures are grainy as would be expected. The largest fault with the camera is the visibility of the LCD screen in bright sunlight. A small opitcal finder would have been preferred for outdoor use in full sun.

I have tested several name brands over my career as a field claims adjuster and Kodak is the best field-ready camera by far. It has user-friendly settings and features, uses standard batteries, conserves power and is durable in adverse conditions. I used a Kodak Z700 for 90 consecutive days in New Orleans (following Hurricane Katrina and during Hurricane Rita), enduring the harshest rain, humidity and heat conditions without a hitch. Great products!

So far I am disappointed in this camera. Light haired subjects are difficult to capture, low light produces dark photos and in other cases too much light produces photos that are glared. Also, the red eye feature is not very good.

This was my 7th digital camera and my favorite. I have had 1 off brand, 3 Canons, 1 other Kodak, and a Sony. I had been a loyal canon customer but the time between flash pictures on my A540 was 5 seconds. This camera replaces the A540 for all events where I need a flash. It is also slightly smaller than the A540. My only complaint is the the USB port on the camera is a smaller than standard size so now I just have the 1 cable that Kodak provided to download pictures from this camera. I have 6 of the other "standard" USB cables that work with everything else but this camera (my other cameras, blackberry phone and MP3 players). The battery life seems good (I use AA NIMH 2500 mah rechargable batteries for all of my digital cameras). I highly recommend this camera - but don't pay more than [$] for it.

My Z885 replaced a slightly smaller Kodak with a broken screen. I was attracted to the 5X optical lens and the high megapixels. Shutter lag is reduced on this model, compared to my broken one. I wanted a camera that would fit in my pocket while fishing and hiking in the mountains in Colorado.

This is my third digital camera (after DX 6440 and V 705) and the best yet. Image stabilization makes 25x zoom usable without a tripod. High ISO with high shutter speed make action shots possible at low light levels without the mottled pictures sometimes produced by enhancement. Ideal for carrying in the pocket.
