I have used all types of mice for my computer and I have to say that this mouse is by far the best one. It doesn't have to travel all over a mousepad and doesn't require constantly changing batteries. It is stationary and sits in the same spot on my desk unless I need to move it. Great idea.

If you use the scroll wheel on your current mouse be very sure that you can deal with the way this one imitates having a scroll wheel. I found it inconvenient to use and my system didn't deal well with the method of scrolling it uses.
I traded it for a Logitech Trackman, Wheel that works much better and has a real scroll wheel.

This mouse is excellent for people who have problems with moving their wrist and/or arm. My wife has fibromialgia and this mouse greatly reduced and arm, wrist or hand pain caused by moving a mouse. With this mouse, you rotate the ball. The mouse does not move. We also use this mouse with our laptop.

For me, a trackball is superior to a mouse in several ways. It takes up less space, requires less space to operate, and allows for finer control. The Marble mouse also has some great extra features and great software to let you personalize how it works.

I can't find a mouse big enough for my hand so I got the trackball. It would be great except that the right side button is positioned perfectly for accidental right clicking. It's almost impossible to avoid. Makes hand placement very uncomfortable.

We love the Logitech Marble Mouse, a cousin let his sister try one, she bought it, and we tried hers and we were all hooked. It is easy to use, no rolling all over the place trying to move the pointer. My husband has arthritis in his hands and it makes it easy for him to play games and scroll. The marble and the controls are large and and make it easy to use. This is the 3rd we have bought and would not buy the other types of mouse.
It's a fair product; so far so good.

With a pull out drawer, it is nice to not have to make space to work a mouse. Always at the same location and works well. About the only "mouse" feature I miss is the scroll wheel and there may be a way to to that on here with the extea buttons, but I haven't tried to figure it out

As a rehabilitation specialist who works with arm/wrist/hand problems from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome to DeQuervain's Disease, I can say with 100% certainty that this is the ONLY mouse to have...how about no potential repetitive use injury to larger muscles?...allow the small muscles do what they're supposed to do (fine motor skills)...don't buy anything else...this is the only way to go!

It works well but the buttons are a little too sensitive, and the narrow design makes my hand cramp.

I love it. No more chasing that mouse around the desk! On my other mouse I had a scroll wheel. I do miss that but the pros outweigh the cons here.
Marble mouse is a great product.
