It is not just Avery binders. I use them because I need them for work. Binders as a whole do not stand up well due to the type of construction. I will need to replace these in probably 2 years. Not very long considering the cost.

These do not hold up well with daily use in a backpack. The plastic shows "wear and tear" too quickly and they need to be replaced every few months when the rings fail. They should last longer for the price.
