Dangerous Packaging, can't mount, cheap

This is that packaging you can't open!! For all the effort, including stitches from cuts trying to open it, the packaging is not even recyclable. Product is made in Taiwan.

Shame on you 3M. You should be part of the solution, not the problem.

The plastic is the cheap, inflexible, brittle thin style that readily cracks... my $.78 "chip clips" and my daughter's dime-store hair clips use higher quality plastic. The plastic in the product is recyclable.

Unless the side of your monitor is flat and at least .75" wide, mounting won't work.

Very disappointed. For a one-time project, maybe. For real use, no way.

This product is not only a space saver, but it also saves time! It is nice to have the document I am taking information from right next to the computer screen. I do not have to turn my chair or body to get information off my desk any more. It is very easy to set this up. I LOVE that it folds behind my monitor. Out of the way which is nice because I don't have much desk space. Came with two adhesive strips which was nice but I had accidently set it up on the wrong side of my monitor at first. My co-worker in the office liked it so much that we ordered her one too!

It was super easy to install this product and it holds a good amount of paper. I like that it moves forward and back and it doesn't take up any desk space like the traditional copyholders. I also like that it has a holder that allows you to just hold a sheet without having to use the clip. The clip feels like it could easily break so I use it carefully. Overall, it's perfect and it does exactly what I need it to.

I love this product! I do a lot of input and typing and needed something that didn't take alot of desk space as I am limited to where I can place copy to type from. This product fit my needs perfectly! It is out of the way when I don't need it but easily accessible when I do need it. I use it daily and love it!

I decided to go with this one because I liked the look, there were more positive than negative comments and figured the negatives were just "flukes" so I should be okay with one. The holder worked perfectly for about 72 hours; after that point, I tried to clip some papers to it and noticed the spring had at some point become dislodged, so there wasn't any tension in the clip. I managed to reassemble the clip, but then one of the arms that the center pin goes through (the center pin also holds the spring in place) suddenly snapped off without any evidence of stress on the plastic.

  Yes it can be attached almost anywhere. It uses command strips to secure it to your computer so it can be easily moved where you need it. It also swivels at the base and the head so it can be positioned where you want it.

  It does attach with adhesive. I wasn't crazy about putting adhesive on my monitor, but the convenience of this device has made it really worth that compromise.
