      I bought two of these for our office to protect the two main computers from power surges and outages. So far it has worked great, we have many power surges during the day and it does its job. The only thing I didn't like about it was that no where did it say that I was getting a refurbished one. It works and still has a warranty so that is the least of my worries. Good product for a small office. If you have it hooked up to protect your printers be sure to mute it or it will drive you bonkers.

        Have constant variations of voltage coming into the house. It caused the VOIP phone to provide inconsistent call quality. Plus cable router would freeze. I think the UPS feature of ""Boost" and "trim" features correct low and high voltage conditions without using battery power corrected the problem, but now way to confirm this was the fix. Have been using it for 2 weeks and everything is working smooth as silk.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          We had purchased the smaller 750 units but found when we were running on the generator it was constantly beeping because of voltage irregularities. This solved that problem.

          It also could handle the desktop running with two 24 inch monitors. The product seems like a good fit for our situation.
