This product is perfect for reading books with small print. It is comfortable to hold and with it's rectangular shape conforms to a book's page. A round magnifying glass doesn't make sense. Prefect for travel---with its foldable handle and carrying case. Having a built in optional light is an added bonus.

  These are acrylic lenses. The reason that acrylic is used, as opposed to glass, is because it is more durable and less prone to scratching, chipping or breaking.
