Canon Glossy paper with a Canon printer makes for great printed photographs. Canon matt finish paper disappointed me in that it seemed just like the white card stock I already had on hand. Maybe there is a secret coating that I don't know about. For posters, or everyday printing It was OK.
For Photos that you want to frame and keep go Canon Glossy II.

    I have shopped at Staples for quite a while now.
    I enjoy the employees' welcomes and attention to
    me when I ask for help, but most of the time I don't even need to ask; they are right there asking me if I need any help. They don't point in
    the direction of where an article is, they take me
    there even if it's on the other side of the store or way in the back. I like to be able to have their assistance. Everyone that has waited on me
    in the store gives me their undivided attention and they don't walk away to help someone else until I'm completely satisfied. I really like that. I don't see my going anywhere else for my
    office supplies; Staples is the best!

      I used to get the Staples brand, which was almost identical to this, but they no longer make it. Now they only have the very thick, ink-sucking, matte photo paper.

      As a graphic designer and illustrator, this paper suits my needs. The fact that it isn't double sided isn't a big deal because the non printing side is shiny and very white. Can't mistake it.

            I had never purchased any paper before so I put the heavy protective sheet into my printer but it would not print until I told it to print on heavy paper. Then I discovered that it was just a protective sheet. Clearer instructions would help a lot.

            I use this paper primarily for Black & White photography. I also use it for color photography when I want something to look flat like a conversion to an old photo style.

            The paper holds the ink well (I have a Canon Pro 100), and the paper is an excellent grade.

            Matte paper is not for everyone, but if you're looking for good paper, I recommend this one.
