    These labels are great, however, the Staples price is nearly twice the price of competitors. Also, Staples offers no volume discounts...whereas other sites do.

                        These labels are designed for a Dymo thermal printer which does not use ink or toner. They are not really designed to be written on.

                        A:

                        I would recommend a standard Sharpie marker, for example, item #303628. This marker is waterproof, smear proof, and fade-resistant. Giving the ink time to dry and possibly applying a clear tape over top will ensure maximum staying power.
