The ink drys fastwith no smudges and lasts longer then what I am used to with other brands. It's easy to put into the printer. The ink makes crisp characters which are ready to use. No drying time needed which is good for short dead lines. Price is right up there with the others but it lasts longer and makes work easier. Not a lot of peeling of strips when opening the product up when useing other brands I got ink on my hands and sometimes on the table or floor. Not with Epson it's a snap to use. Works with all kinds of papers. it's very hard to place it into into the printer the wrong way making it quick and easy to change ink on the fly when working on projects that force you to print out many draft copys. I have used three other brands. Unless Epson makes some miss steps this brand of ink will always have a home in my office.and lasts longer then what I am used to with other brands. This is a pretty decent ink cartridge. The ink itself is stable for most purposes. I am a student and I use a lot of ink. The product performs reliably and I don't have to worry about losing pages because of ink fade or lines through the text when the cartridge is low. This is because I unselect the "high speed" box in the advanced settings of the printer driver. I have found the ink performs best and reliably under this setting. The only thing I don't like about this product is the low capacity of the cartridge. The price is right, but it's average when one considers that to equal a typical BLACK cartridge, it would require two of these smaller cartridges, which results in the price not being that different from average. One nice thing about this cartridge is that it doesn't leak ink all over the place when it is taken out and placed in when replacing. The ink itself is actually black and holds up good to moist conditions without running all over the place. Its best use is for documents on bright white copy paper, and lower quality paper provides the best results in my opinion.

I ENJOY USING AND LIKE THE 124 BLACK EPSON CARTRIDGE. I AM A DAILY USER OF MY COMPUTER AND PRINTER AND HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE A VERY GOOD PRODUCT TO USE. ALTHOUGH I THINK IT IS PRICED A LITTLE HIGH, I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PURCHASE IT. I THINK AND WOULD LOVE IF THE PRICE WENT DOWN BY MAYBE $2.00. IT WOULD BE MORE AFFORDABLE FOR ME AND I WOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT SO FAR IN BETWEEN CHANGES TO PURCHASE ANOTHER CARTRIDGE DUE TO FUNDS SHORTAGE FOR THEPRODUCT PLUS OTHER ITEMS I MAY WANT AND NED TO PURCHASE AT THAT TIME. OVERALL THOUGH, THE PRODUCT IS VERY GOOD. GUES THAT'S WHY I KEEP BUYING IT!!!!

I like Epson products because they are reasonably priced and dependable. I would buy this product every time. It's easy to replace and prints clear and drys quick. I tell all my friends about Epson and would highly recommend it to everyone. This product can be found in many stores so that tells me that it is popular and dependable. I have never had any bad experiences with this product . No dry cartridges and no leaking. Easy to use and open. My mom even uses this product and we can help each other with advise and ideas. Love Epson!

Epsom ink is top quality but doesn't last long, I went through 3 cartridges last month. The cartridges are too small but cost more than they should. The instructions are not clear on replacing them. The charging takes a long time to complete the task.

My last three printers have been Epson printers. I have tried refilled cartridges to save money; but after you throw out a cartridge or two, I am not sure that I saved any money. Additionally, the refills have caused printer problems. Say no to knock offs and refills; I am a believer. I now use only Epson cartridges and could not be happier. I also like that there are different capacity cartridges. I do not print a big volume, so I buy the moderate capacity cartridges. The ink stays fresh and I seem to have eliminated ink clogs.
