This paper is among the brightest paper I purchased. The text shows outstanding contrast but is slightly below the best in sharpness, crispness, and clarity. On color documents, the colors are bright and vivid. However, this paper is a bit too light for jobs requiring a lot of ink or toner (e.g. photos) since a slight amount of 'show-through' is evident on jobs needing a lot of ink or toner. Hammermill needs to manufacture a 32-lb. (or heavier) version of this color copy paper to resolve this 'show-through' problem. I would recommend this paper for one-sided text and light-demand color documents but not for 2-sided or high-demand documents due to its 28-lb. weight. Again, I would strongly suggest that Hammermill make a 32-lb. or heavier-weight version of this paper for 2-sided documents, high-demand color photos, and other high-demand documents requiring a lot of ink or toner.

    I keep index prints of my photos and love the quality of this paper! It's dense and bright. I like making quick cards on it since it's heavier 28 weight and not standard 20; it also makes very nice handouts for church. Anytime I want nicer paper, I love opting for this paper.

      Very good paper - prints color images well with crisp text. Main drawback is the price - about 6x the cost of 24lb Xerox paper at Costco. We use it for printing cover pages for a pattern for retail, and it is very good for this.

            not unless you special order. They don't seem to have it available in stock, so it never qualifies for the "by the case" discounts that they offer. They don't carry legal size in stock, either, which is a disappointment.
