An excellent value for the money!!

This is my first Logitech device and I must admit I'm an instant FAN of this presenter. Logitech is superior to some of the higher priced Interlink presenters. Presenter fits easily into ones hand- laser pointer is excellent- far superior to interlink's products. Plus, USB device stores within the presenter when not being used- and it comes with a carrying case. I'm so very impressed with this presenter- I plan on buying another to keep in my briefcase. A most excellent value & quality for the money. I highly recommend to anyone that does a lot of powerpoint presentations.

Though this device is easy to hold and it has it's own cute and protective carrying case -- I'm returning it. I like that there is a feature to change slides from the device, but the buttons to change the slides are right next to the laser pointing button. I found that I would accidently change slides when I only wanted to point the laser to the screen. I don't mind paying good money for a good product. Unfortunately, this was good money for only a mediocre product.

Decent product, connects to PC easy. Would be nice if turn on switch was activated when USB remote was removed. When placing USB dongle back in must remember to turn off switch. Nice button to start presentation.

I am a book author. I like to be able to walk around when I give a presentation. I bought the R400 just a few days before an important speaking engagement and used it with PowerPoint 2007 for an audience of about 100 people. I didn't have a lot of time to practice, so fortunately, the instructions for the R400 were simple and it worked just as it was supposed to. I read reviews of several products before buying this one. People had said the buttons on some models were confusing and they had pressed the wrong one. Nothing like that happened to me with the R400. I've used it only the one time, but I'd recommend it based on that.

I hate to sound so naive, but I have my laptop hooked up to my flat screen tv. There is a business presentation on my company website that has arrow keys that I can click with a wire mouse or wireless mouse, however, it is very awkward to do it this way. Will this help me?

Will this item work with other programs/software. IE: windows media player when using it as a demostration program like power point? I teach ACLS and Healthcare provider courses and use disks through windows media player.

  This will work if you are using the Media player within Power Point. This will not allow you to control the player, but it will allow you to click 'next' and play your media.

  According to Logitechs web site, this model is not Mac compatible. "The R400 is not supported on Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, UNIX, Linux or Macintosh operating systems." It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista & 7.
