DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$!

Would you throw away [$] in the trash can? I'd just did. This stamp is not built correctly. One of the date is lower than the rest of the imprint therefore it does not show after stamping. Can't believe they don't "QC" before they release the products. Very disapointed that Staples would carry such a bad product.

type size is way too small so it is too easy too apply too much ink which makes it unreadable

It's not really a 6 year stampo, since the first year on it is 2011. Also, the impression is not 3/4" wide - this matters to me because I have a sticker with a smallish space to datestamp. It's almost a full inch wide, quite a bit larger than the image shown above (on my monitor, anyway), and more like 3mm high than 2mm.

I thought I would go with this bargain priced date stamper, but the dates are hard to read, the characters aren't raised enough so often I just get an ink smush on the page instead of a legible date, and I can only stamp twice before needing to re-wet with the ink pad. Spend the extra $3 and get a self-inking stamp. This one is not worth the money, as inexpensive as it is.

The print on this date stamp was too small. Once I put ink on it, I was unable to read the date. It came out as a big mess.

Could you provide, in the advertisement, a sample of how the date looks when the stamp is used. Measurements are great, but a real-size date would be more helpful. I want to see the font and the font size.
