I have used the 32 gb usb and it has came in very handy for when I am traveling on the road to transfer my files over from my pc or other external hard drive over to the USB PNY attache. I had trouble withe the first one that I purchased (considered it was just one bad in a batch) but spoke to PNY tech and he gave me great instructions and advice on solving the issue.He even offered to send me another one immediatly if I wanted to return the device, this is after he spent his valuable time being patient and understanding on working through the issues with me. I was happy with the response fro the PNY tech and he was very cooperative with me and may I say very patient. I returned the devivce to the store I purchased it and replaced it with the same and since then I have had no trouble with using the device. May I add that the PNY tech actually called me later to follow up on my issues to make sure that he store that I purchased it from took care if the issue at hand. Thank you PNC and the Tech that spent the time to call back and check back with me to confirmed that my issues were resolved.

The sliding end is very difficult to operate and often interferes with insertion into the port. Also this design does not provide good protection for the connection end.

I should have known that the price was too good to be true. I did have reservation when I saw it, but I left price over rule good judgement. It is also slightly more bulky that most flash drives. I have always trusted HP, but this was far from what I have expected and recieved from HP. It is still functional, and I will continue to use it. I did get what I paid for.

    This is a usual flash drive. My computer is almost a decade old, so I can't really talk about speed. The thing that looks like a lid that might fall off actually slides further back onto the drive during use, and snaps in place over the flange? when it's not.

      The sliding cover is very solid. It requires a firm push to open it and to close it back up again. That's not a negative, just an observation.
      The 32G capacity was a good size for my current music, photo, and data needs. On sale, the price was great.

            It's a flash drive, so there's not much mystery to it. You plug it in and use it...the end. I bought this item so I could off-load my media and free up hard drive space. It was the right capacity, it was on sale, and I had rewards to redeem that brought my out-of-pocket to about eight dollars (thank you, Staples Rewards!).What this item lacks - something that my other flash drives all have - is an indicator light to show when it's active and processing, and when it's not and is safe to eject. It's also disappointing to buy a "32GB" flash drive but end up with only 29.1GB of actual storage space...nearly 10% less capacity than what you think you're paying for. Lastly, the retractable cap is very tight and tough to slide back and forth - particularly after the drive has been running and is really warm. At least, this is the problem with my particular drive...At the end of the day, however, it does the job it's supposed to. And since I only paid about eight bucks for it, I can't really complain too much.
