I tutor homeschool classes and had a very large, heavy white board which I had set up on a chair this last year. But I needed a more stable and higher support, so I just ordered and received this easel. I do not know how durable it is yet, of course; but the design is very well-suited for anyone who needs a portable but heavy-duty easel. I'm not sure why the price was so high; but it was the only one that I found that could hold a white board weighing over 25 pounds.
