Worst Electric Stapler

    Comments about Rapid 20EX Dual Electric Stapler, 20-Sheet Capacity, Blue/Gray:

    When you insert papers the mechanism that triggers the stapler tears and bends the papers. At times you have to angle the papers or put the staple off to the right to avoid the papers moving. You have to hold the stapler in place while inserting the papers or it will move. It only holds a half sleeve of staples. The front is not smooth so inserting papers can be difficult, mar the papers, and miss-align them. It does not save any time compared to using a regular stapler. It would probably be okay for light use in a home setting but it is terrible for office/daily use.

      does this take standard staples? it said it took SWI35440 and yet I can't find that product in your list of staples.

        Yes it does take standard size staples BUT the recommneded replacement staples according to Esselte for the product is SWI35440. These are a special order item and can be placed in order at 1-800-333-3330.
