Have had this model for over 8 years and have never had a problem. Only open it about once a month. If you don't get in it very often, you will need to put desiccant in to remove moisture build-up.

We have around 20 of those safes and I think every year at least 5 break down, hinges break off, rods get blocked etc
used to have 5 year warranty and good service from Sentry but now they changed warranty to 1 year, and actually they last not much longer then that, if that long!
