The headphones are actually very nice. They don't have quite the response of my gaming headphones but they are far preferrable to the iPhone earbuds. The speakers sit comfortably on my ears and the entire set folds up nicely. The two problems I've encountered are how uncomfortable the band is while using them and the difficulty in wrapping the cord. The first problem is solved by wearing a hat. The headband is rather hard and wearing a ball cap fixes the issue. The other has a solution already built-in: the headphones come with a pouch in which to keep them. Simply dump the cord in there when you stow the 'phones.

Honestly, the best thing is that they work fine with my first generation iPhone. The casing on the iPhone made it difficult or impossible to firmly connect audio cables aside from the Apple brand earbuds. These headphones fit perfectly.

Fantastic sound... These headphones will take you to another world...until the chord of death entangles itself into your own personal hell! The chord is unmanageable, can not break it in. It keeps wrapping around itself until it becomes a ball of twisted mess. I get so upset with the chord that I lose focus on the enjoyment of the great audio coming from the headphones... Sony really skimped on the materials used to make the chords that its hardware uses. Such a small thing and it makes such a huge difference! Grr!

Comments about Sony Noise Canceling Headphones:

I had a previous Sony noise canceling headphone which worked well but I found the earbuds uncomfortable. I have discovered that earbuds just don't seem to fit me well. I wanted to replace them but didn't want a bulky headset. I use them when I travel. These fit my needs perfectly.

Comments about Sony Noise Canceling Headphones:

good sound. cord just way too short. also no volume control on cord.. but for this price, decent set of head phones. longer cord with volume control would get 5 stars.

Comments about Sony Noise Canceling Headphones:

I loved these headphones...until both ear pieces just snapped off when I put them on my head! I had just started using them at my computer, streaming in "study" music and they were great; comfortable, lightweight, excellent job of noise reduction. I only wore them three times before they broke. SO disappointed.
