At least two of these live in a cup on my desk at school and the high school students use them when ever they need it. Some are big athletes and some small females and everyone has been able to use them easily, they are well built so the strong guys cannot crush them and render them useless which has happened in the past with other similar products, NOT THESE. I love this product and will buy it again and again because they do tend to walk off each year sooner or later.

I wanted to replace the 1-hole punch I've had for 30 years because I assumed by this point, it had dulled and a new one would do the trick quicker, easier and more accurately. I picked up the Staples brand 1-hole punch for a buck because I thought, how can I lose? Not only was it new, but it had a nifty pocket to hold the paper bits it had just cut. Very tidy. When I tested the punch on a piece of copy paper, I discovered that I wasted my dollar. It was tough to punch through, and once it did, the hole wasn't cleanly punched. Piece of junk. It's now in a bag waiting to go to Goodwill.

IT cuts cleanly. I was looking for a brand name that I recognized, but bought this because it was the only one that was a single punch. It didn't cost much and I was doubtful that it would work well, but it does.

I am a teacher, so shopping at Staples is a "given' for me. It is very useful to have specials on items that I use everyday in my classroom. The single hole punch is an easy item for my students to use and it is constructed durably so it lasts most of the school year without breaking. Teachers like me really depend on Staples to deliver good quallity items at a reasonable cost .Although something simple like a single hole punch may not be on the top of your list of items to promote, please rememnber that teachers(like me) purchase many small items to keep our classrooms up and running!

I had a one-time need for a one-hole punch and tried to cheap out on the purchase. Mistake. Apparently my job involved 6 sheets of paper and that did in the flimsy construction on this little beauty. It didn't help that the punch was misaligned with the hole to begin with. Since it was so cheap I didn't bother to take it back for refund, I just went back to Staples and bought the better quality punch and was very happy with it. My bad for abandoning my "buy in the middle" philosophy and getting the low-end product. Lesson learned.
