My green in my wallet is on the almost extinct list. This product met the quality standard and the price limit I had set for my business.

There Are Better Choices On The Market

This is one of the worst papers I purchased in many years. The quality control with this paper is simply TERRIBLE! Many sheets contain brown 'flecks' which mar the appearance of any documents. Some sheets appear curled out of the package and I had to bend the sheets before feeding them in my copiers and printers. The paper is one of the dullest papers I seen in a long time and the brightness varies greatly from package to package. Also some sheets in each package contain wrinkles on the edges. This paper doesn't last long at all and fades and 'yellows' sooner than most papers on the market. The text quality is among the poorest I'd seen in any paper. The text appears extremely soft and blurred and smears easily. This paper is somewhat thinner and flimsier than other 20-lb. papers on the market and rips and tears easily if I don't handle it very carefully. Unless I 'fan' this paper and feed it VERY CAREFULLY, this paper will easily jam and/or 'pull doubles' in all my printers and copiers. I must set the ink/toner levels on all my copiers and printers very low when using this paper or else the ink or toner will bleed through very, very easily. The only uses I can think of for this paper is as childrens' doodle paper or paper for 'rough drafts'. It could also be used as typing paper for 'rough drafts'. I definitely do not recommend this paper for any other purposes. There are better choices on the market.

This paper is the perfect choice if you are looking for a recycled paper that is nice and bright. It is really easy to grab that ream that is $3 less but we all pay the price by using paper that is not recycled. If it costs a bit more but helps out the planet, then go for it! I run it in a laser and an inkjet and have never had any issues with jamming, corner crunching or feeding. The paper acts just like a copy paper should. I highly recommend it for your office, school or any basic office applications.

Q:
Why is the recycled paper so much more expensive than non-recycled? Does it require more energy to make? If so, the environmental trade-off may not be a good one.

Q:
Is this 100% recycled paper available at a case rate? I believe I bought it that way previously, but it does not seem to be an option at this time. I really prefer this to the 30% as it seems to work more trouble free with my equipment. Thanks for your time.

  Have you called Staples customer service to find out? (I assumed any copy paper that could be bought in reams could be purchased by the case.)
  
  You might want to let Staples know that, for you, the 100% recycled works better than the 30%, as that's useful information that might help the company decide to make, and keep available, cases of the paper in stock to be ordered.
