I am a bit confused with the price jump from the 50 to the 100 pack. I usually buy 2 - 50 packs because there is a significant savings over purchasing the 100 pack. This bothers me because I am concerned about environment, and would rather buy the 100 pack at the same price and have less garbage at the end.

Boy, did I get burned with this [*]. I normally use SONY only, but was lured in by a sale price for this Staples crapola in the 100-pack. I didn't use them right away--by time I did, it was too late to return them. THESE SIMPLY DO NOT WORK!!! ONE in SEVEN gave a successful burn. Same project but with SONY, and no problems. Now I'm stuck with 85 more of these useless DVDs--or I have to sit through burn after unsuccessful coaster burn till I get a good one. NEVER AGAIN, Staples!!! Rule of thumb, when you stock up on media, at least open the package and try a few before the return time expires.

I've purchased the Staples brand of DVD's before. I usually have 1 disc that's bad out of 50-100, so I'm very satisfied. The price is way better than the name brands also!
