When I first tore the plastic, the first case I grabbed had already been broken. As I tried to open it, it just fell off. Other than just that first one though, I've been very satisfied with the cases. They protect your CDs, especially if you happen to just have a ton of audio CDs in your car and no cases to keep them in. These come in handy. They have nice color options too, and because they're mostly clear - you can write on them with permanent marker and still be able to read everything clearly.

I use them for discs that hold my pictures. I take pictures of gravestones for a lady who puts them online. I do a lot of genealogy and appreciate others who take gravestone pictures and live in areas that are difficult for me to get to. Thus, I am able to use their pictures for my genealogy research and they can use mine.

I needed individual jewel cases. I'm sending out copies of my son's wedding to people that were not able to attend. Lots of other stores do not carry these any more. Why? They don't even know.
These cases are sturdy enough to protect CDs, even in the mail. Much, much better than paper ones. I'm also using them for my copies of movies. My friends and I split the cost of new movies that come out in Blue Ray and DVD packs. He gets the DVD, I get the Blue Ray. Problem was there is only one case. I use these cases for the Blue Ray copy. It takes up much less room than the original case.
Also, these cases file neatly in a shoe box. And, because they are multi-colored, you can color code your movies, pictures, and music. I recommend them.
