We opt for these over the self seal simply because we use them up very quickly for invoices and monthly statements. They work great with Quickbooks. My only complaint is that sometimes they don't seal tightly - they could use a stronger adhesive. At first you'll find that they will not seal with too little moisture, and too much moisture simply makes the envelope wet. It doesn't take long to adjust and get it right - a minor adjustment for the best value around.

I'm serious, this is crazy. I have 300 of these envelopes sitting on my desk, stuffed and ready to be mailed, and they won't seal. At all. The gum is the next best thing to worthless, and I've taken to sealing three at a time and then sticking a heavy book on it for an hour.

What's more, the envelopes themselves are of shoddy construction -- more than one of them has completely come apart as I've been stuffing them.

I am NOT PLEASED. What a waste of money.

The envelopes are good for its price however you can occassionally find 20 out of 500 that are not gummed at all. I'm referring to not just the flap to seal but the envelope itself.

The #9 2-window envelope is fine if you only have one sheet of regular 8 1/2 x 11 paper to put in it. For more than one sheet this envelope is much too small and highly impractical. Use a #10 double window envelope to avoid problems.

The first two cases had glue from the windows leaked over and had to peel each one open to use, most times the window was ripped out during the process of almost 30 seconds that should have taken 3 seconds to stuff an envelope.

I used very many of them just yesterday and was thinking about calling someone to let them know that the past few boxes of envelopes i've purchased have been extremely difficult to seal. The water seeps right thru the paper and makes it look really unprofessional. The past few times I've had to seal it using tape. It would be nice if you would create those exact envelopes with peal off seals instead.
