I love Staples Brand Cap Erasers, Assorted 12 pack by Staples because they have very nice colors they came with 4 different colors by 3 is green, yellow, pink, and orange i use it in colored wood pencils and colored mechanical pencils so i bought these cap assorted erasers from staples for [$] cent so i get 4 packages of those for my kids that need cap erasers but some i don't buy the cheaper cap assorted erasers because it's difficult to erasers and they smudged easily. So this is my review about Staples Brand Cap Erasers Assorted 12 pack by Staples.

My daughter and I use these when the erasers on the end of pencils where down. It extends the life of the pencil use. However, sometimes they split at the attachment and will no longer stay on the pencil. Also, if they harden and don't erase well when stored for extended periods.

      I use these every day to complete attendance records. These pencil-top erasers break at the part that grips around the pencil after only a few uses. This happens all the time. The only reason I still use them is because I've learned to put tape around the eraser to make it stay gripped on the pencil. I'm going to buy a different brand next time.

                Are we the only household who has problems with these erasers (and any we buy from any other store) ?? The manufacturers have skimped on materials through the years and now these eraser split where they fit on the ends! We aren't using any special sort of pencils either - just plain old yellow number 2 pencils from Staples, and other regular pencils from walmart, etc.

                Splitting results in them 'falling off' when you attempt to erase....very frustrating..

                wouldn't mind paying MORE for a FUNCTIONAL product. but can't find ones anywhere that are just a smigeon better quality and bigger.
