This item is GREAT! So great that I bought 2 of them. They are the best thing for moistening envelopes, much better than all that licking and then having that nasty adhesive taste in your mouth. What more can I say? WOW! Man, you have got to get yourself one of these things RIGHT NOW! Turn off your computer, get dressed, and drive to your nearest Staples store for one of these time-saving devices. You won't regret it! You can seal all your envelopes lickity-split!

The pads wear out quickly and are not replaceable, even though they could be. The plastic bottles are not marked as recyclable. It would make more sense to be able to reuse the bottles, which don't wear out, and just buy new sponge tops.

    I found if you add a couple drops of dish detergent, it helps to regulate the flow of water and the envelopes don't get as wet. Also, it prevents the mold if you use the bacteria killing dish soap.

              This product works great! Yes, the top of the sponge starts to deteriorate after 1000+ uses, but heck... this envelope moistener costs [$]!! I'll buy a new one if it gets deteriorated that badly. It doesn't get any better, especially for the price.

                  I work for a nonprofit organization that employs and trains adults with disabilities. I operate a mailing facility and the adults with disabilities are able to use this product with ease. So many sealers allow water to soak the material if you press down to hard on the sponge. This sealer applies the right amount of water each time! Wonderful product!
