Q: when i type in 11x8.5 sheet inserts this is what it comes up with... are they 11x8.5 because they look like 8.5x11 insert which one is correct? Asked on 11/7/2009 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 6 answers A: 8.5x11 is correct because when specifying any stationery product the dimension that is considered to be the top should be stated first. Answered on 12/8/2009 by Railroad Prynter from Salem, Oregon A: 8.5 x 11 Answered on 12/15/2009 by jeb from Bourbonnais, IL A: I work in the envelope field, and some companies always list the size as height first and then width ( left to right.) I don't think it has to do with where the opening is, or what you are insering into them. Answered on 12/22/2009 by Phil from Cleveland, Ohio A: the sheets are 8.5 X 11 or 216mm x 279mm I have the box infront of me Answered on 8/11/2010 by radon lady from Florida A: They are 8.5 X 11, like a sheet of paper orientated portrait style, opposed to landscape style. Answered on 2/23/2011 by Linda from Vermont A: The first # in the series may denote the side of the sheet protector that is open - i.e., if 11x8.5, protector may be open on the 11" / long side. I know the ones labeled 8.5x11 open at the top, the 8.5" dimension. Hope that helps. Answered on 3/29/2011 by madetcher from Rio Vista CA

Q: Could you use these with dividers? If so, which ones? Also, what type of binder could I use these page protectors with dividers in? Asked on 9/11/2009 by Patty from Asheville, NC Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The heavy duty protectors are really rugid and can be used with dividers. We like to keep the first articles up front so that what we put in is like reading a book from front to back. We use Avery 3" binders, but you could use any available size you like. Both binders and protectors are very sturdy. Answered on 9/15/2009 by Proud Parents from Bronx, New York A: Yes you can use with dividers but you need the kind that are sticky. Just stick them right to one of the sheet protectors and it will work perfect! As for binders, I like the kind with the dual folding cover ( the 3 rings are mounted to the back of the cover and do not move) I find these work the best. Answered on 9/15/2009 by Ryan from New York
