We tend to be overwhelmed with papers that need to be kept for a short period of time (flyers about upcoming events, bills, school papers), but these can cover every horizontal surface. This stand up file system allows easy access to them, but hides the unsightly mess they make.

It really helps keep important desktop files out of the way...can even set some smaller items under it. Uses a bit of desktop space; not the best option for a small desk. I use GTD methodology for filing, and it works well with that.
