When I first ordered these steno pads I was delighted to find that the pages tore out easily, without leaving little loose strips of paper to make a mess.

Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with quality control, since on recent orders the steno pads have been quite different. The pages are difficult to tear out, and they do leave irritating little strips that fall on the floor.

I use these steno pads all the time, so it really matters to me. It is a very simple thing... how wide the paper strip is above the holes... but in my experience it makes a great difference in functionality.

If Staples would like to contact me for more details, I would be happy to talk with them. I wish so much I could get a batch of these steno pads like the ones I used to get when I first started buying them.

Everyone in the office uses them, they are easy to store, the cover is hard enough to act as a good writing surface when you are in a meeting and need to write from your knee/lap. They are prefered over regular notebooks.
