I realize that this is a relatively inexpensive item, but there are a couple of problems that are unacceptable even at this price: (1) The shade sits noticeably crooked; and (2) the shade has several painfully obvious air bubbles in the glass. This lamp is going back to the store ASAP.

The lamp is very beautiful but the 60 watt light bulb the lamp comes with is way too strong. I am a law student and good lighting is critical for my heavy duty reading. After two hours of reading, I had to turn the lamp off. Now, I need to buy a lower wattage bulb as to not strain my eyes.
