This is the best gel pen I have found on the market. It feels like a ballpoint pen but writes like a fountain pen. The 1.0 thick point is pleasing to the feel in its broad strokes. These gel pens do dry out if they are not used regularly, but that is true of all gel pens. Every time I give one of these pens to someone to sign something, they ask to keep it.

I love these pens. I am a student, and have to take a lot of notes and write a lot of papers. I'm also older, and I have a bit of carpel tunnel in my right wrist. The Sarasa Bold (1.0) is the only pen I can write with for hours without fatigue in my hand and wrist. My only wish is that they were refillable! There is a Sarasa refillable, but it only comes in Medium point (0.7), which I'm afraid won't give me the same smooth performance as the Bold. Maybe I'll try one just to check it out...
