I bought this for the first time in May of 2015 and the price was $81.99 before tax and shipping. We put new carpet in another room with a desk and wanted to now put a chair mat in that room too. Not for thick carpets/rugs
The mat arrived in a timely manner. It snapped open and lies flat. So far (2 weeks) it has not dimpled. My only dislike is that it slides all over. The pins on the bottom are not long enough and the mat is easily moved by the office chair wheels. Having to realign the mat every day is irritating. If you have thick carpet or rugs I would not recommend this chair mat

Great Quality Chair Mat!
This was a replacement mat for one that was not adequate for carpeting. We are very pleased so far with the mat showing no signs of indents from our chairs. So far so good.. We shall see, we shall see!

Pricey but very good quality. Shipped very fast. Was expecting item to arrive flat but came in a 12"x12"x4' box which was surprising. Be extremely careful when unpacking and cutting the plastic wrap holding the mat in a coil. OK but watch out
It came rolled up in a box, bound with a plastic wrapper and warnings that cutting the wrapper would cause it to unfold rapidly. So I carefully knelt on it and cut the wrapper. Not a great idea: It expanded instantaneously and knocked me onto the carpet. Next time, if there is a next time, I will straddle it.

Moves around, misleading on carpet pile
Like others have noted, the mat moves around, a lot. It creeps 3-4" every couple days of use, requiring it to be pushed forward again. Very annoying. Best floor mat I've ever had. Worth every cent.

Steady Enough for deep pile carpets, but still moves
Steady enough for deep pile carpets, but still moves. That is, as you slide you chair back-n-forth the floor mat moves. By the end of day you have to readjust the floor May back to a normal position.

Great Chair Mat
This is a great mat for carpeted floors. It is a bit more flexible than my prior mat and seems less likely to crack as a result. We’ve had it for a few weeks now and its working out perfectly.

Best Chairmat
While this chairmat was thinner than the one I had, the polycarbonate plastic is very durable and the wheels of the chair do not sink down like with vinyl chairmats.

Chair Mat
This chair mat came rolled up. You needed another person to help "unroll" it, since it was so tightly wound. Works great, NO dents, in it after sitting for long periods. Was a bit on the expensive side, but worth it in the long run.
