This mat is devoid of those little pinpoints that hold a mat to the floor. As a result, it is always moving about under my chair.

A hard floor for a soft chair.
I bought my first Staples Hard Floor Chair Mat (36" x 48", Clear Vinyl) in 2009 when I first opened my consulting service. Floor mat.
The vinyl is hard, and I tend to trip on the edge of it. It said you can cut the handle and hook off with scissors. You cannot cut it with regular scissors.

Folding Chair Mat
The mat works fine, I don't like seeing the seam down the middle on the floor. It's very visible on hardwood or planked flooring.

Split on center seam
Followed directions to let it get to room temperature. When it was opened it split along the fold.
