Overly complex. No instructions on the basics.
The instructions were so complicated that I could not follow them, and when I did follow them, they didn’t work. More importantly they neglected to cover the most basic things, such as how to record a message ( they did cover that, and when I followed the instructions explicitly it still didn’t work.), how to listen to messages and how to erase messages were not covered...

Works OK. The maximum volume level is lower than I would like as I am hearing impaired. It does not have answering/recording capability.

Awesome phones
I loved my old ones until they slowly died, only fair to replace with something I know holds up. Use these at a seasonal ice cream shop, 2 handsets are a great feature and they hold up through all the stickiness and bustle of a busy local business. Would suggest Vtech to anyone looking

Very basic phone
Unfortunately, I was unable to use these phones. First of all, the print on the face for call information is minuscule! And, because the face is not lit, it’s unable to see except in bright sunlight! It also doesn’t have call announcement.

Home phone
Our home phone stopped working. So I bought this phone, actually the same model as our old.Found out later when a technician came to check, that its the line, not the phone that needed to be fixed. Anyway, the phone is easy to use for my Mom at home who is 89 years old. The features is just right for what we / she needed. Happy customer.

Okay so far
Phones were purchased to replace an earlier version that had died. So far this one works well with adequate audio, but visual screen display is limited from prior version. If someone still had a landline or phone service via an internet provider, this is an inexpensive option that will work.

The phone works great, but I wish there was a quick reference summary guide on how to use some of the simpler features as it seemed like you had to read through a lot of instructions in trying to use some of the features such as deleting the list of missed calls, the message feature (setting it up, listening, deleting messages),
