Lets be real, most people use their gift cards online now a days so we just toss that plastic card. This is easier and doesn't waste plastic!

If you want to spend lots of time of time contacting customer service then order away!
Placed an order on October 18 and two weeks later I still haven't received my gift card. Contacted customer service twice and was told I would be contacted within 24 hours; hopefully this second time I will hear from someone since nothing happened the first time. I have ordered gift cards twice from Staples now and had issues both times. Really, who has time for this?

Delivery in an hour
As a more recent datapoint, I order the egift card at 8:58pm on a Friday night. The email confirmation said the egift card would be delivered in “less than one business day” so I was afraid that meant Monday. Fortunately the eGC arrived in my inbox an hour later!

E-gift card cancelled
I tried to order the e-gift card on 2 separate occasions as there were no physical gift cards in their store and order was cancelled by staples both times without representative able to help push order through within the company system.
