It doesn't work. The blade does come out as it should. Even our dadget man could not get it to work properly.

Doesn't Work
Great idea, but the construction behind it is flawed. Out of the package, this box cutter did not work. Messing with it a bit got it to work some-what but not as it was intended. I wouldn't recommend.

Junk Knife
After receiving and trying this box cutter, quality was so low, I simply threw it in the trash. I didn't even bother to return it. Don't purchase this product, get a real box cutter and save yourself time and money.

Blade not too long
I do like the feel of this cutter but the blade could stand to be a bit longer. It doesn't quite go out far enough and the adjustment is all the way to the longest setting. There are only 3 settings. I do like the safety feature that you have to squeeze the handle for the blade to come out.

Necessity for me!
I ordered one of these months ago and lost it, so I ordered 3 more! With a constant need for a box cutter, this one is easy to use and as safe as a knife with a razor blade in it can be! I love mine!

Use it all the time
Perfect for opening all those packages. The blade retracts when not in use so you don’t cut yourself, and it’s easier than the usual slide mechanism. And yes, this blade doesn’t come out as far as a standard “box-cutter”, but you don’t damage the contents of the box by using it. Definitely recommend this product.

It works
The knife has been really helpful in helping me cut cardboard for shipping purposes. However, I cannot figure out how to adjust the blade. The accompanying documentation is picture-based, thus not helpful.

SHARP, SIMPLE, AND SAFE
I work in the office at a diesel repair shop and I use this to open parts boxes, as well as office packages. I love the edge guide and the option to choose the size blade depending on what you want to cut/open.

Would not recommend Safety Cutter
I purchased this to open boxes at work and was not pleased with this product one bit. It is not easily opened, closed or kept open. It does specify it is a "safety cutter" however it only lets out about a half-inch of the blade which makes it harder to open anything.

Terrible Knife
Cheap. Can't get the blade out far enough to even use! I wish that I had read the reviews before purchasing! I would love to return it! If only I kept my packing slip and receipts!! DO NOT buy this item!!

If you need a good utility knife for the kitchen or for opening mail, buy this one. If you need a good one for warehouse/shipping/receiving, DON'T buy this one.
