VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Not good
I like the Matt but it creeps. By that I mean it place it on my medium length carped and after using my chair for 1 day, it moves to the left up against the furniture. I put it back in place and it creeps again. Not happy

The mat was shipped with packing tape all over the mat. The quality of the mat was good but took several hours to remove the adhesive from the mat. There is no reason that mat could not be covered in plastic, then taped. What a joke!!!!!

We bought these mats to go in a home we just moved into which had a rug with high pile in the office area. These mats are great at allowing our office chairs on rollers to glide easily.

A Significant Imrovement:Pile Matters
I bought a cheaper mat for hardwood floor or low pile carpet, and had problems. I have now replaced it with this mat that is more suitable for the pile of my carpet. flimsy & too thin
The chair mat is easy to trip on due to how thin it is. I'm a very old woman & it could cause a problem for me. It doesn't lay totally flat, at one end it has a mis-shaped rise. Poor quality.

Shifts position with movement of chair, and as a result it tends to develop humps/bulges due to stresses on the plastic. Also, the mat develops indentations or pockets where the chair weight presses downward, under the casters.
