Trash can on wheels for the kitchen not a good idea. Moves back and hits my wall every time.

Dog proof
I had the stainless steel butterfly lid version for over a decade but my dog recently learned to knock it over and get it open and broke it. This new trash can has the simplest lock and has so far kept my dog out. Very happy with this can.

Slim design allows it to be placed next to kitchen cabinetry without sticking out. Step feature is convenient & more cleanly when both hands are not a available to open the garbage can. Self slow close lid is also a very useful feature.

Love that Lid!
Nice slim can with a lid that doesn’t clunk, bang shut or swing off accidentally. Highly recommend for the discerning kitchen savvy user that likes EASY.

The reason I knocked off one star is because they move all over the place when using them. As others have said a weight In the bottom of the can helps. I have not tried this yet but I probably will. Maybe they really just do not need wheels on them as they are not that large. They are large enough for my husband and myself.

REALLY NICETRASH CAN
This is such a neat & compact trash can. So glad I purchased it. Use the foot pedal to open when hands are full or not clean and if just a little thing is tossed out I will open the manually. While it is very compact it still holds a lot of garbage before having to empty. We are VERY HAPPY with our simplehuman trash can and highly recommend it!

Excellent kitchen garbage bin
We got one of these tall kitchen garbage bins at work. I like the wheels on the back it make easier on floor to get it put of a tight spot. So bought one for my home.

Great trash can, reasonably priced!
This trash can is great because it fits a standard kitchen trash bag but is nice and slim (doesn't take up too much space). Works perfectly in our laundry room! The color is great as well.

What an awesome skinny trash
What an awesome skinny trash can! I put a brick in the bottom of it to keep it from tipping when I step on the foot lever. Otherwise it’s just great!

Great Trash can
Bought 2 replacements for one we got over 10 years ago. Pet lock is great. Slow close is great. Slim size is great. No question SimpleHuman is the way to go. Highly recommend.

Love! Love! Love!
This Slim step can is more than I expected...high quality, best fit and looks absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen. I use it for recycling and it's between the washer and cabinet. I live in an apartment so keeping everything clutter free is important. Designer look all the way!!!
