Good stapler
I brought my old version of this SAME Staples stapler that would ONLY staple occasionally - drove me crazy. Counter person tried to analyze the old stapler and said NG and went to the shelves to bring me this new and improved version. Loved the old version, not this one
I had a Staples brand one-touch type stapler that was at least 10 years old. I bought this one a couple of weeks ago and am so disappointed. The old one was as dependable as a stapler should be. The Best!
I ordered this stapler and another to compare which would meet our needs best. There is no question that this is the best easy touch stapler! It is quiet, stylish, and easy to use. The other one I purchased was mostly plastic, jerky, and loud.

The Best!

Less Sturdy with Cheaper Plastic

Better Than the Similar One It Replaced
My Staples stapler suddenly stopped working after about 15 years. I wanted to buy the same one, because I really liked it. But sadly, Staples no longer sells their own brand of stapler...but Quill does! This one is even easier to staple, and it can staple up to 20 pages, whereas the former one only did 15. Way to go Quill!

never really work
Staples, you need to do better. Every stapler we have that is Staples brand does not work. they are cheaply made of plastic and they break easily or just won't work to begin with.

Poor design, difficult to use
After wasting time trying to open it up to load staples, i figured it out (it's a secret). The loaded staples (an awkward approach, imho) , only to find the plastic stops to keep from pulling out the carrier also kept one from putting it back in with the staples . Back to the store on my next trip. This is a NO.
