NOT CLEAR
the description of this product is not clear! It states "2-piece prong fasteners" HOWEVER, the item was only one of the two pieces needed. Was extremely inconvenient.

Very Handy Product for Organizing Papers
The only reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5, is because you have to order the prongs and fasteners separately. When it wasn't in stock, the fasteners were sent to me and they got loose in the box. It was like stuffing a turkey with a pig...very hard to get them all back in, and the boxes don't close very well. All in all, I couldn't get along without them.

The description is not correct online. It only has the Compressor in the box. When I contacted Staples via the Chat Line, they said they'd resend the correct item. The second shipment was wrong too! My husband went to the staples store and got just prongs, but he got the wrong ones too. So now I'll have to go myself and return 3 boxes of wrong items and get the correct ...

Product good.......packaging terrible
The tops were exactly what we needed and no complaints but the boxes they are packaged in were so flimsy that when we received the package we had 200 small metal tops lose in the shipping package. After several finger slices...we finally put all back together and rebuilt the boxes with lots of tape so they would stay together (poor material in the packaging construction...

Not 3-1/2" Capacity
Ordered these because the description says that these have a 3-1/2" Capacity, Just a warning, this is only a One-Part item. It is just the base, no prongs are included. Great quality, but not what we needed.

they get the job done
They do exactly what they are made to do and keep our files looking neat. My co-worker does not like to use these fasteners, because they are a bit sharp on the edge. If they were a bit smoother or had rubber on the edge to make them not so sharp that would be great. Otherwise they do exactly what they are made to do and keep our files looking neat.
