What a mistake
I have purchased this product in the past and have always been unhappy with it. Oil, clogs my dispenser, a real mess. I stayed away for about a year and decided to give it another try. Downy, you didn't let me down. Same old, same old. What a terrible product.

The fabric softener came out like glue

Awful!
I’ve used Downy Fabric Softener for 40 years, so when I tried this, I thought it would be great. However, it poured out thick as mud and stuck to the sides of my washer drum. It gunked up my fabric softener attachment, too. I was very surprised and disappointed. I do not recommend this product and will never buy it again. Sorry, P

Misleading the Consumer
I love this product. The cost vs the amount of product you get is deceiving. The container says 2.63 L but that is not the amount of liquid in the container. False advertising

Seems to yellow my whites
It seems to yellows whites. It could be the combination of it with another detergent. But it’s the only new product added to the wash when this happened

I agree Pudding Consistency
I agree with the previous posts that the consistency is like pudding. It clogged up the softener container on my washer. I have added water to the product and hope it works better next time I use it.

Thick and difficult to pour.
I just purchased a new jug of Downy and its consistency is extremely thick and difficult to pour. It's 103 oz.

Impossible to get all the product paid for
I like the product however it is impossible to get all of the product out of the container. Considering the product is more expensive than other like products it is aggravating.

Wanted to reach someone who could tell me.,....
Why does my Ultra Downy start coming out in "globs"?? Won't change product. I shake it...think I'll add water. It clogged fabric conditioner container in washer!

I use this for allergies and it works better than other brands. One issue is the cap, I have to find help to open it

Excellent Softener
I do not want the chemicals put in my softener just to make them smell like flowers or whatever. It is not good for your skin or your body. This is an excellent softener. My clothes are soft! That is all and that is what I want.

Leaves your clothes feeling soft and fluffy
Me and my two kids have sensitive skin and this is mu go to fabric softener it does an amazing job that you expect from Downey. Of you or your family has sensitive skin them this should be your go to fabric softener.

"Ultra" versions are too concentrated.
When Downy switched to "Ultra" concentrated versions of their softener, the product is too thick and clogs our softener dispenser. Yes, we tried diluting it with water, but it does not dissolve well and still is a problem.

I bought this product because I have asthma and perfumes bother me. But the smell on my clothes after I Used this product was such a bad, strong smell. I actually had to throw them away. What a waste of money. I smelled the bottle afterward and my husband did to and the smell was horrible. May not have perfume but has something worse (pungent smell).
