It has been my habit for many years to highlight the texts that I read. I have found uni-ball's Onyx rollerball pens, especially those with Micro points, to be the best for this task. Get the ONYX line for superior performance over the regular, if you like pressing into the page for every mark be my guest and pay more, but I'll take the ONYX with me to the grave!

Uniball Onyx Micro tip pens
Don't like these very much--maybe it's the writing tip, because the ink doesn't flow well at all. Some of the pens write like they're already low on ink. The fine tip pens are much better. Not buying Micro t I ps ever again.

Uni-ball Onyx Rollerball Pen
This is my favorite pen because it is the best writing instrument. I prefer the micro or 0.5 because of the fine line. If I loan it to someone for a moment to write with it, they always want to keep it and comment on how great it writes.
