It works well
I needed a chalkboard for a class I am teaching. The chalk writes well on it and it is a great size.

not a wooden frame
States that item has a wooden frame. It is in fact not wood, it is pressed composite covered with vinyl, would not have purchased if i had known as it cant be satained.

Great value, good board.
The board is slightly flimsy, but I did not expect a teacher quality board for $20. It arrived intact and exactly as expected. I have not used traditional chalk on this board, but it works great with chalk bistro markers.

My husband was wanting a board to do puzzles on and it is big enough to work a 1000 piece puzzle on. It is sturdy enough for this purpose. I can't comment on how it works as a chalkboard or whiteboard. The reverse side is white.

Disappointed
This board looks nice; however, it is very difficult to clean off leaving lines after trying to erase. This is a problem since I work with kids that have learning issues, and they can be distracted by the remaining chalk. For this reason I cannot give it a good review.
