Yard Gard
I tired Yard Gard to deter raccoons from my lawn, however, the raccoons up rooted all 4 of my Yard Gard and continued destroying the lawn. No Yard Gard is not effective. I will like a total refund.

Pest reseller works!
We had one of these last year. It kept the squirrels out of our strawberries! We just bought 2 more for our raised beds.

Seems working
My Chinese lettuce seedings were gone twice after I transplanted them into growing bed. After installing the yard guard, the plants are still growing in the growing bed.

Bird-X Solar Yard Guard
Woodpecker makes holes in my cedar siding every fall. I used streamers for years with mixed results. Added two of these units first week of the bird's attack on my house this year and no more bird. Attached them to the trim at the roof line.

Don't waste your money
I bought this to deter birds from sitting on my screened in patio. After 3 weeks outside, it stopped working completely--and by that, I mean the sound no longer works and the light doesn't flash when there is motion. It is a piece of garbage.

It may be working
It may be working but it is difficult to tell. I have it guarding my melon patch which is about 30' x 30'. I did lose a cantaloupe. But deer had been eating a lot of the leaves off of the plants and that seams to have stopped.

I do not have enough information to fully evaluate the product. The description tells you 80 degree coverage but gives you no height coverage. It also says u will have to pay attention to the animals frequently coming until the unit has an effect on their habit. I am satisfied but need further info to fully assess the unit

Just what we were hoping it would be
The unit was easy to set up and put in place on the ground spike. The sensitivity is very good even for small squirrels. I like that it just activates for five seconds until it senses more movement. Solar recharge is a great idea for long term. So far it seems to have significantly decreased the night time deer damage of our ornimentals.
