Not for small houses!
From the product disclaimer sheet in the box: "DO NOT install this device if there is not at least 30 feet of wire between the electrical outlet and the electrical service panel." USB Surge Portector
Love the flat pug to wall, so when outlets are behind furniture, this surge protector with many outlets and USB is very nice to home office where you have to plug in many items: 2 phones, laptop, monitor, heater... also helpful for bedside phone charging via usb or chargers.
