Can't even set the lock
I bought this lock today and find the instructions too tiny to read and incomprehensible. I did get the lock open but have been unable to set a combination or to close the lock. Worthless! Dial numbers are difficult to read even with glasses. I wish I still had my old, easy to use lock that disappeared, probably cut by TSA to see what was up with that bottle of Cognac.

Instructions are not helpful!
I could not use this lock because it doesn't work. Can't set the combination because it doesn't open. Poorly made and to expensive. Very disappointed!!

Failed, set combo as described above. See UPDATE
Here is how to set the new combination. 000 is the factory default. Open the lock. While it is open, use a small, straight tool, depress AND HOLD the reset button while setting the new combination. Did all that then released the button, closed the lock. Neither the new combo nor 000 will open the lock. I wonder what the combination is now.

Don’t buy
Bought this yesterday for my trip today and it didn’t even work. It wouldn’t even open. Paid over 20 dollars for it and went for the Samsonite because I thought it was quality. So disappointed and now have to buy something at the airport.

Like the combo
I prefer the combo lock vs key because I often lose the small key. It was easy to operate.

An’t use
Bought the suitcase a while ago and did not use. Dusted it off to use but there are no instructions for the TSA002 lock. This is a separate lock (not integrated). How difficult is it to put instructions in the bag?

Easy to program
Nice lock. Easy to program. I liked the previous version I got better because I didn't need any tools (sharp pointed object) to program.
