Tru Red Pens
I am a long time fan of PaperMate pens, especially InkGel. An associate offered help as I was trying to decide which PaperMate I would purchase. He explained why the Tru Reds were developed, offered me a trial use and I was hooked. They are truly as good as a PaperMate and SOOO much cheaper! Terrible
Was excited to try this new line, they are sleek and colorful and quick dry. Except they are too dry. So dry that they do not write consistently, it is like they are running out of ink but they are brand new. Do not waste your money.

Gel Pen Works for Me
Gel Pen Works for Me, Tru-Red appears to be better than PaprMte, in personal use. Bleeds less in my opinion. Just know the paper type you are sing the pens on. Very important!

Great deal from the clearance section!
I purchased this set of 5 different colored gel pens for $1.46 from the clearance section at Staples. I already had gel pens, so I wouldn't have paid full price, but these work very well - no blotting, clogging, etc.

Let me state my point:
I wanted a MEDIUM point pen. However, these things I bought have a 0.7 point that creates a barely perceptible ink track.

Smooth writing instrument
I'm quite impressed with the smoothness in delivering ink to the page. The tactile feel leans toward grippy. I would buy these pens again!

Good but not great
These pens work well!....until they don't. At first they were very scratchy and not smooth. I had to write with them a while before the ink had a consistent flow. The nib remained rough, but not as much as when I first used them.
This is when I fell in love with them! The colors are so pretty and fun! The ink dries within a few seconds, so might not be the best for lef...
