Thecable seems to be well made with a thickness and weight that say "it will last". The textured covering on the cable also adds to the durability image.

bought 2 and both broke in days
Bought two of these and one had the metal piece that fits into your phone break in a few weeks, while the 2nd broke in a week's time. Just use these to charge at night. Customer Service was great about refunding. Maybe a bad batch. There is a 5 year warranty which they'll honor.
