IT'S A PLASTIC FILE BOX!
Purchased this item in the past. This box is clear plastic to see inside. It makes an excellent small filing system for all sorts of things. I use one for my monthly charge card statement. Compact and sturdy.

Thin Plastic
This is not made well. Thin plastic and clasp easily falls off.

Off-Gassing Stench
When I opened the plastic file box there was a stench of plastic that had not been prepared for a recycled item. The smell was acrid, irritating (eyes watered and throat burned); there was no way this box could be used for storing anything. I returned it.

Hard to open
I bought a black plastic file box and thought it was well made but a bit hard to open at the store. However, I figured it out how to get it to open. Once I got home and started putting things in it, then somehow it became almost impossible to open it. Great file tote
The file tote is great. Unfortunately, my pickup order was split into two shipments which required two trips to Staples. My second trip to Staples required waiting about 20 minutes for someone to arrive at an unattended checkout counter.

I think this tote is great. Very easy to stack to store.
However the flip top lid for labels etc does come loose when opening the tote. This is because the clip to open the tote isn’t easy.
