Decent resolution
All the new computers and monitors use HDMI, but if you have an older VGA monitor, like I do, and it's still good, you need one of these adapters. The problem is when you go to buy one, there are 3 different grades. I bought this one because it was the lowest priced. Though it is still expensive, it was less than the others, and it works fine.
