Awesome Performance
I have 16 smart devices , multiple gaming platforms, kids that use high data, and I only stream shows. This thing has not shown the slightest bit of slowing down. Range is amazing , setup was easy. Pricey, but worth it!!!

Cost me extra money
Had to return it, fault software/firmware. Wired or wireless connections weren't consistent, thought it was my provider until they proved it was this router and charged me for their visit.

Easy to install and app is very efficient.
Previous Netgear router was done in by a storm and bought the AX8. Easy to install and Netgear was helpful with any questions that I had.

Wicked fast
Finally got fiber internet and this router was the icing on the cake. Streaming everything now with no buffering.

Ok once you get it setup
Set up many previous nighthawks in the past decade and this one out of the box literally had to be reset seven times to finally keep connectivity to even set up initially. Not pleased but once its up works well.

Pleasantly surprised
I read reviews with mixed experiences, but I'm pleased to report that I am seeing speeds very close to my wired connection, resulting in very little speed loss on WiFi. This is such a nice change from my old ASUS router that had huge speed losses over WiFi. It looks like Darth Vader's ship, which is pretty neat, and so far, it has lived up to my expectations.

Excellent product
So, I bought this router because my old one dies when we had a power surge.. yes I had a surge protector that apparently did not work 100%.
What I like about this router is is works well! Also, I could set it up using my laptop and I was not forced into downloading yet another app on my cell.

Works well enough for business use
Haven't had any issues with this router since its installation 6 months ago. Its portal is a little bit difficult to navigate but any other setup and monitoring makes it really easy to use as an administrator.

Easy set up
We upgraded to this newer version of Nighthawk. It was quick and simple to set up. We use it for a business so I waited until we closed for the night expecting issues, I had it up and running no time. Tested connections and was done within 30 minutes.

Great product but takes up space
The router works great as far as range. It was very easy to set up and you are not forced to download an app to your phone if you want to set up via computer instead.
However, it is a bit bit per the shape. A tower model, if it has the same other features of this one would have worked best for me.

Replacement Nighthawk
My old router was dying so I went on the Netgear web site and had a most helpful online chat. We selected this router and it works as advertised. My iPhone 11 now registers download speeds in excess of 700mbps. Not that I need that speed on my phone it’s just easy to test…I’m now getting what I’m paying for in internet speed.
